Our classes and groups are for adults only (age 20 – 80+). No experience with meditation or mindfulness is needed. The only pre-requisite is a willingness to be open to new ways of seeing and thinking about your experience.

Curious about Mindfulness? Looking for simple tools to relieve stress, reduce emotional reactivity, improve mood, and increase happiness? In this Introductory workshop, find out what mindfulness is, and is not. Learn about how it is used to improve focus and concentration, increase happiness, treat stress and stress-related illness, relieve anxiety and chronic pain, and prevent relapses in addiction and depression. Participants will experience a sampling of mindfulness practices. No prior experience with mindfulness or meditation necessary. This class is recommended as a pre-requisite to the Mindfulness for Well-being 4-class series.
